The Bridge Austin Radio KTXW– 101.1 FM & 1120 AM, Today’s Christian Talk is looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good work ethic, be a self-starter and highly organized.

Job Summary

The Business Manager will be responsible for basic accounting, receivables, payables, quarterly reports and payroll, along with other business related accounting duties 

Responsibilities

• Answer Multi Line Telephone
• Manage financial transactions
• Update and maintain the general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
• Recording of debits and credits
• Manage journal entries
• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
• Proficient with Account Payables & Receivables
• Proficient with payroll and quarterly reports
• Proficient with tax deposits
• Create accounting reports as needed: monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
• Familiar with Tax requirements
• Familiar with hiring and separation paperwork

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience (media experience preferred)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong presentation and computer skills
• Advanced knowledge of Quick Books
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Understanding accounting best practices
• Data entry skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Publisher
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy
• Professionalism and organization skills
• Knowledge of Natural Log or other applications helpful, but not necessary.

Education

• College education preferred

Certification

• Must have valid Texas driver’s license and state mandated automobile insurance
