Volunteer with Blue Santa

The Austin Police Operation Blue Santa’s mission is to provide toys, gifts, and gift cards for holiday meals for families in need. They achieve this goal with the goodwill and support of Austin residents, businesses, and civic groups! They provide gifts, toys, and gift cards for families in need during the holiday season.

Their service began with about 20 needy families, this year they will easily serve over 5000 families. This is only possible because of the goodwill and big hearts of Austin’s citizens, businesses, and civic groups that support them each year.  Thank you Austin and surrounding communities!

There are a few different ways you can get involved…

• Donate – You can give a monetary donation to help the mission.
• Adopt a Family – Search through the applications and find a family you connect with, contact them, and then help by buying food, giftcards, etc., for them!
• Volunteer – They need helping wrapping all these gifts and they need with clean up in January from the holiday season.

*They have shifts from now until January 25th, 2019 – which is also the cut off date.*
